Wonki and J ceramics products are all carefully handcrafted. While they are microwave and dishwasher safe, we recommend gentle handwashing when possible.
Buncheong ware is a form of traditional Korean stoneware characterised by a dark, iron rich clay finished with a white slip and clear glaze. It has tendency to slowly stain over the time; patina is considered natural to its character, however it can be removed by using baking soda paste or soaking in vinegar water overnight.
As with all ceramics, thermal shock is best avoided to prevent any unwanted breakage.
