Description
Burrum River Macadamias is an early stage plantation; responsibly farmed on a pristine bush block on the banks of the Burrum River (by our family of four). Surrounded by native hardwood windbreaks and cut by subtropical creeks, it is a first generation farming venture with a heart to improve food security and produce a local, high protein, plant product.
This region is origin land for the macadamia (bopple) species and wild trees still exist in the area.
The nuts have been grown with minimal spray, making the farm bug and bird friendly.
